Now that the roller-coaster ride that was the 2011-2012 Syracuse Orange basketball season has come to an end and I have cooled down a bit, it’s time to hand out the season superlatives.
Of course, Syracuse would’ve been a great team with Noel. But Syracuse has the potential to be a very good team, even with Noel taking his talents elsewhere.

The Orange fell to .500 as they got dominated by Cornell, 12-6, at Schoellkopf Field. The Big Red extended its home winning streak to 15 games, the best in the NCAA, while winning its 500th game in school history.
Syracuse, which defeated a ranked opponent for the first time this season on Saturday, will try to make it two in a row when it travels to Ithaca to play the Big Red.
Cuse Nation is eagerly awaiting Decision 2012 with Nerlens Noel, which will come on April 11. But has anybody thought about what happens if he doesn’t put on the Orange hat?
