After two games where Syracuse shot a combined 5-27 from downtown, the Orange’s outside shooting improved significantly in a 96-62 win over Central Connecticut State on Monday night.

The win was Jim Boeheim’s 902nd win, tying him with Bobby Knight for second all-time among NCAA coaches.

The Blue Devils had an up-and-down 13-16 season last season, but ended up with a winning record (10-8) in the Northeast Conference.
