2024 wide receiver Kyan Berry-Johnson is one of the fastest rising prospects in his class.

The Bolingbrook (Ill.) High athlete recently picked up his first high-major offer from Wisconsin earlier in the week, adding to a list that also includes Bowling Green, Connecticut, Marshall, UConn and Ball State.

One of the newest schools recruiting Berry-Johnson is Syracuse, who offered him on Tuesday. The offer was extended by assistant coach Mike Lynch.

“It felt good because it was my first ACC offer,” Berry-Johnson said in an interview with The Juice Online. “So far, I think the coaches are very nice and good to build a relationship with.”

Berry-Johnson added that he looks forward to visiting the Syracuse campus.

The 5-10, 162 pound receiver is rated a three-star prospect by 247 Sports and 27th in the state of Illinois. While he doesn’t have any favorites so far, two schools have been recruiting him harder than others so far: “Houston and Wisconsin,” he said.

Berry-Johnson drew plenty of attention at the Boom Best of the Best MLK Day showcases, displaying crisp route running and eye-catching leaping ability.

“Very physical and a redzone threat,” Berry-Johnson said of his style of play. “Deep-ball threat and a playmaker.”
