2024 offensive lineman James Muller visited Syracuse over weekend and enjoyed his visit, he said in an interview with The Juice Online.
“The visit was great, I had a great time being there with my family,” Muller said. “The staff is awesome and really is super helpful and friendly.”

Muller was originally recruited by Mike Schmidt, but he left Syracuse at the conclusion of the 2022 season. The Orange hired Steve Farmer as its new offensive line coach, and he immediately began connecting with recruits, including Muller.
“Being that there are new coaches, it was cool to be able to meet them all and talk for a while,” Muller said. “I really enjoyed talking to the new OL coach, Steve Farmer. I thought he was fantastic and definitely has the OL room going in a great direction.”
The Hun School (NJ) recruit was a key part of a 9-0 Raiders team that rushed for 2,783 yards on the season.

Muller said he looks forward to staying in touch with the Syracuse staff as his recruitment ramps up.
