Syracuse hosted a group of recruits during its 59-0 win over Wagner on Saturday. We caught up with some of them to get their reactions to the win.

Paul McClune: 2023 offensive lineman from Twin Valley (PA) High

The atmosphere in the Dome was amazing. It was electric even when the backups were in. I enjoyed the game very much especially watching the O-line dominate. My impression on Syracuse after the game is I understand why they are a top team in the nation and it all starts from the enthusiastic coaching staff and the culture.

Christopher Peralta: 2024 linebacker from Seton Hall (NJ) Prep

Loved the energy of the crowd and the fans. I did enjoy the game. The atmosphere just made it soo much better. Syracuse isn’t a team to play with and they are going to go hard every play.

Justin Denson: 2023 wide receiver from La Salle (RI) Academy

It was pretty electric even though it was a game they knew they were going to win. I had a pretty fun time watching how technical they were, even while they were up big. The recruiting staff was great. They showed a lot of what Syracuse has to offer. It’s not a four-year relationship. It’s 40.

Brahim Wynn Jr.: 2024 EDGE from Timber Creek (NJ) High

I enjoyed watching the game a lot. Syracuse dominated and the QB had a perfect game in my eyes. And I even got to see the South Jersey talent on Syracuse turn up with Deuce’s pick-6 and LeQuint’s touchdown.

Cam Pragano: 2023 wide receiver from Lyman (CT) Hall

I got to see first hand how good Syracuse is and how the team is one of the top teams – not only in the ACC, but in the entire country. I think the best is yet to come for Orange Nation! Syracuse is definitely one of my top choices to further my academics and athletics. I am so pumped! It’s only the beginning for this team. From the QB, to RB to defense and special teams, this group is just hitting its stride and will be fun to watch climb the rankings.

Jayden Colon, a 2023 defensive back from Dickinson (NJ) High

It opens my eyes to see that they have great coaching, and it definitely means they are getting back on track. Syracuse is a very strong team and you definitely cant sleep on them at all. Once I walked in there, it felt good and it kind of felt like a place for me.
