A large group of recruits were on hand to watch Syracuse edge Virginia, 22-20, on Friday evening at the JMA Wireless Dome. We caught up with some of them to get their reactions to the win.

Azir Lee: 2025 ATH from Camden (NJ) Academy High:

The atmosphere was beautiful!! The game was very interesting to watch. Like the way how Syracuse got some go-getters, and for it to be my first time at one of their games, or a game like that in general, it had me out my seat, and my eager to watch… I started to get hype like I was the one who was playing.

The atmosphere was crazy from the fans to the players, everybody had the same energy and it was very welcoming. I did enjoy the game very much. Syracuse is definitely a team that are doing big things and they interested me a lot.

Jacob Zamot: 2024 quarterback from Millville (NJ) High

The game was awesome and the Dome was electric. The crowd is definitely a major factor, they are truly the 12th man. I definitely enjoyed the game and I’m looking forward to coming back up soon. The team fought hard and didn’t give up, they played for each other and the coaching staff. It was a great team win.
