Tigers basketball coach Kim Anderson and his staff had a big visitor on campus last weekend for homecoming as point guard Kobi Simmons of St. Francis (Ga.), the No. 15 prospect for 2016 in the 247Sports composite, made his first trip to Columbia, Mo. “It was great,” Simmons’ father, Demond Stephens, said. “It was incredible. We had a great time. We were really impressed with Coach Kim, his demeanor and what his plans were for Kobi.” Simmons spent most of the weekend hanging out with Tigers freshman forward Jakeenan Gant, who also hails from Georiga and has known his family for a long time.
