Syracuse knocked out Western Michigan 77-53 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament and will play Dayton in the third round of the South Region. The Flyers won after Vee Sanford scored on a layup with 3.8 seconds left to lift 11th-seeded Dayton past Ohio State, 60-59.
