Grafton senior Beau Benzschawel was committed to play football at Syracuse in 2014 — until Wednesday night. That all changed when Wisconsin offered Benzschawel a scholarship and the 6-foot-6, 250-pound tight end committed to the Badgers. “He felt like it is always been a place he wanted to be,” Grafton coach Ben Chossek said Thursday. “It was just the right opportunity.” Benzschawel is the son of Scott Benzschawel, who played defensive line for UW and lettered in 1985 and ’87.
