In the 132nd game of his career, Brandon Triche set a career-best mark, overcoming a choppy start to pour in 29 points to propel #6 Syracuse to a 76-65 road win over Seton Hall on Saturday night.

In flow on offense in the second half, SU kept the Pirates at bay and clamped down on field goal defense to win going away. The victory kept the Orange in a three-way tie with Marquette and Georgetown atop the Big East standings at 9-3.

With Tuesday’s 57-55 loss to Rutgers at the RAC, the Pirates have lost six in a row, and 10 of their last 11.
