Syracuse-Colgate Football Game (Sep 12 2025)
If you need to get up to speed quickly, here is my preview and prediction.

What I'm looking for tonight...
Offense: Angeli effective throughout and Orange wideouts showing the ability to get separation off the line and get open downfield, in part by having the line provide them the time to run deeper patterns. This is an opportunity to get some things figured out in the pass game. With Willis and Malachi James missing tonight's game, I just want to see the run game mixed in, including who is the second back in the mix.
Defense: With Devin Grant missing a second straight game, I want to see the DBs hold up against what is almost a one-trick pony in Colgate's passing game - Treyvhon Saunders. The defense knows what's coming and we need to see how well they can take him out of the Raider attack. In addition, the pass rush needs to show up.
Colgate is a pretty good FCS team, so the Orange will be able to take things away from tonight. I don't expect a blowout, as Fran Brown respects Curt Fitzpatrick too much to run up the score.
