Alexander now has over three dozen offers - Syracuse being able to get him up in March for a visit is a huge deal. I caught up with him earlier in the week, and he said Syracuse along with Florida, Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Georgia Tech, and Notre Dame are the schools standing out to him right now.
He really appreciated meeting Dwight Freeney and Ed Orgeron on the trip.
On Freeney: "We talked about his journey from Syracuse to the highest level, and how much the program helped shape him. Hearing that from someone who’s done it at that level really stuck with me.”
On Orgeron: "He spoke highly of Syracuse and the direction the program is heading. He made it clear he believes in what coach Brown is building."
