More than a dozen recruits attended Syracuse’s dramatic 32-29 win over Purdue on Saturday afternoon at the JMA Wireless Dome. We caught up with some of them to get their reactions to the win.

David Clement: 2023 tight end commit from Albany (NY) Christian Brothers Academy:

The atmosphere of the game was just insane from the start and you could tell how bad Syracuse wanted to make some noise in the college football world to show everyone what SU is about. Seeing them use the TE in a win was great especially Oronde because he was my host on my official visit. I could only imagine the way he felt having such a great game.

Kenneth Everett: 2024 athlete (WR/DB) from Winslow (NJ) Township High:

Every single coach I was introduced to today MADE SURE I knew that the dome was going to get really loud once cuse fans got situated in their seats, no lies told at all! I loved the 3rd down energy. It was my first time coming to Syracuse but I felt really welcomed, I hope to be back. The staff made my family very comfortable and showed all the recruits why we should #commit2cuse.

Caleb Brewer: 2024 offensive lineman from Wyomissing (PA) High:

The atmosphere was amazing. I can see how much support the football team has. I enjoyed the game very much, especially seeing the D lineman pick the ball off and scoring a touchdown! I’m very impressed and I really like how Syracuse operates. The game was one of the best games I have ever been to. It was really cool!

Davin Brewton: 2024 linebacker from Red Bank (NJ) Catholic:

Atmosphere was great, more than I could ever imagine. Loved the energy everyone was giving off. The game was great really intense. Love to watch games like that, it was a dog fight. Definitely changed my whole perspective on Syracuse. It really amazed me. Coaches were great very easy to interact with, very informative, made me feel at home.
