The Rising Stars Challenge will feature some of the top talent not only in Philadelphia, but nationally on both sides. For Team Philly, Penn State-bound big man Mike Watkins has been impressing on the AAU circuit all summer, as have a host of guards such as his Math, Civics and Sciences teammate Samir Doughty, Constitution’s Kimar Williams and Germantown Academy’s Devon Goodman. They will square off against the Philadelphia All-Stars, headlined by a player some call the most exciting player in his class, Derrick Jones. High-scoring guard Levan Alston and recent St. Joe’s commits Lamarr Kimble and Chris Clover will also appear for the Philadelphia All-Stars.
