Jake Pickard, a 6-foot-6, 230-pound defensive end/tight end from Milburn. N.J., on Thursday gave Wisconsin an oral commitment for its 2015 freshman class. Pickard, who announced his commitment on Twitter, visited the UW campus earlier this week. He reportedly had more than a dozen scholarship offers. That list included Nebraska, Oregon, Syracuse, Virginia, Boston College, Cincinnati, Rutgers and Purdue.
