The Iron Mikes, who were 12-15 in 2012-13, got a boost in the offseason when they learned that guards Malachi Richardson and Myles Powell would be transferring in. Richardson, who had been at TCA as a freshman before heading to Roselle Catholic for a year and winning a state title, returned home for his junior campaign. The results were impressive as the Iron Mikes went 21-6, won a Mercer County Tournament trophy and earned the top seed in the NJSIAA Non-Public B South Tournament as well as the No. 1 spot in The Trentonian’s Top 15.
