
Duke is the latest school to jump into the Tyus Battle Sweepstakes. Gary Battle said he has been talking regularly with Duke associate head coach Steve Wojciechowski about his son, a 6-foot-5 guard from Gladstone (N.J.) Gill St. Bernard’s ranked No. 11 in the Class of 2016 by Rivals. “Speaking to Duke pretty often now,” Gary told SNY.tv. “They’ve seen him in AAU. However, they plan to come and watch [his high school team play].”
