When Chris McCullough announced last November that he would play at Syracuse University, he made that declaration with an uncluttered heart. “All I can do (now) is work on my game. I don’t have to hear other schools calling me,” he said in an email. “I’m set (where) I’m going (and can) work on my game and school work.” McCullough has journeyed from his Bronx hometown to the solitude of a small New Hampshire town (population about 6,200) to prepare for his future.
