Sunday, Cypress Bay (Weston, Fla.) cornerback Deion Hallmon de-committed from the Rutgers recruiting class of 2014. The 5-11, 175-pounder originally selected the Scarlet Knights on Aug. 26 over an offer list containing 50 schools. However, it came down to a choice between Rutgers and Syracuse, and the Scarlet Knights won out. But they were unable to maintain Hallmon’s commitment for much more than a month. “I wasn’t feeling it,” said Hallmon, rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports.com. “And I just thought I should look at my other options.”
