
Syracuse overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Providence, 72-66, on Wednesday. C.J. Fair led four players in double figures with 23 points, and he added 11 rebounds. Syracuse (15-1, 3-0 Big East) made only 3 of 21 from 3-point range, but out-rebounded the Friars by a double-digit margin.
