Three strong runs, two in the opening half, provided pretty much all Syracuse would need for their 81-46 exhibition victory over Ryerson at the Carrier Dome on Tuesday night. The Orange, in fact, ripped off stretches of 11, 12, and 18 straight points, nearly outdoing the Rams’ total offensive output.

Tyler Ennis played a very quiet first half, taking only one shot. Jim Boeheim told Ennis at halftime he had to be more aggressive. Ennis did exactly that, and finished with 7 points, 5 assists and 4 steals, while sparking an 18-0 second half run that put the game out of reach.
