While stuck between hoping the rest of the snow vacates itself from my yard ASAP and waiting for Scott Shafer to land Syracuse’s first 2016 verbal commit (it’s recruiting season, baby!), here are some random musings on the madness that is March.
For 36 minutes and change, Syracuse played #13 North Carolina tightly, but wilted late as the Tar Heels closed the game by outscoring the Orange 19-11 in the final 3:29 to pull away for a 91-83 win in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Under Jim Boeheim’s tenure, his Syracuse program has a long history of developing four-year players from sparingly used freshmen to well-rounded, all-conference first team type seniors.
