History has shown Lunardi can be wrong when it comes to Syracuse being in or out of the tournament.

Syracuse may very well end up being one of the last teams left out of the NCAA Tournament.

This is exactly where Syracuse was supposed to be.

Lose this game, and a deep ACC Tournament run would be the only way to save its postseason hopes.

As it stands now a 3-1 finish would put SU at 21-12, probably jostling with the likes of Miami and Louisville.

So where does Syracuse fit this year? On the bubble, of course.

It will likely take two wins out of the four left in the regular season, plus a first-ever ACC Tournament win.

Syracuse has had at least one top-20 upset victory in each of the last 3 seasons.

Syracuse still controls its March objectives, albeit with half that remaining schedule coming versus three Top 14 teams.
