It didn’t take long for the Syracuse Orange to take it to the Bucknell Bison, on both ends of the court.

Syracuse simply dominated Bucknell in NIT Season Tip-Off play, leading by as many as 53 points in a 97-46 romp at the Carrier Dome.

Syracuse won its fourth straight game of the 2019-20 season, defeating Bucknell at the Carrier Dome.

In Syracuse’s 80-61 win over Bucknell, the Bisons shot 28.6 percent from the field and 2-for-10 from beyond the arc in the first half.

The Orange played a fine game last night. They went about their business and methodically took care of a decent team in Bucknell. The team’s effort on defense seemed to be as lacking as the crowd attendance (officially just over 17,000 but actually much less) but the offense put together another efficient performance and SU improves to 12-0 with one game left before the beginning of Big East play.

Syracuse shoots 52.8 percent (28 of 53) for the game while holding Bucknell to 37.3 percent (22 of 59) in 80-61 win.

The game was over fairly early as the Orange went on an 11-2 run midway through the first half to go up 24-10 with 7:29 left. Syracuse would lead by dougle digits for the rest of the game, helped partially by Bucknell’s ice cold shooting.
