Syracuse faceoff specialist Chris Daddio’s improvement will be put to the test against NEC Player of the Year Kevin Massa, who is one of the elite faceoff specialists in the country.

Syracuse played Bryant on Sunday night at the Carrier Dome in the first round of the 2013 NCAA lacrosse tournament. Here is a recap of the game.

Bryant captured an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament by defeating Robert Morris, 14-7, to capture the NEC title. Bryant scored six unanswered goals in the fourth quarter, and Tournament MVP Peter McMahon notched his third-straight hat trick in the win.

The Orange won its second straight Big East Tournament championship on Saturday, topping Villanova, 13-9, in the title game. It was SU’s fourth conference title in the four-year history of the league.
