Cincinnati and Rutgers picked up their fifth wins of the season, while South Florida lost their second-straight Big East game on the road. Connecticut picked itself out of the cellar of the conference, as Louisville took their place. Pittsburgh lost in non-conference play, their fourth loss in the last five games.

Syracuse coughed one up against Rutgers, while Connecticut and Louisville lost late leads at home to teams from the Mid-Atlantic Conference and Conference USA, respectively. West Virginia and Cincinnati continued to impress, while Pittsburgh surprised some with their rout of No. 16 South Florida.

Around The Big East: Week 4

Cincinnati and No. 18 South Florida continued to impress as the Big East went 5-2 in Week 4. The Bearcats routed the Wolfpack, while South Florida rolled over UTEP. Syracuse needed overtime to beat Toledo, while Connecticut and Rutgers also picked up wins. Pittsburgh fell at Notre Dame while No. 16 West Virginia got blown out at home against No. 2 LSU. Conference play begins next week.
