Syracuse’s younger players have a lot to work on[/caption]Last weekend’s close game against Hampton revealed the Syracuse men’s basketball team has a long way to go.
The Orange (2-0) rattled off ten straight points late in the second half to push a six-point lead to 16 and effectively end the game against the Pirates (0-2).
While the final score of 89-42 suggests a positive season debut for Syracuse in their rout of Kennesaw State, head coach Jim Boeheim likely has many things on his mind.
With the younger roster, Syracuse will not likely throw up a gaudy win total over the course of the season as they work out some of the kinks along the way.
