The surprise OV visit here is definitely Texas defensive lineman Daryl Campbell. He holds over two dozen offers and committed to Vandy in May.
I just spoke to him: “Already enjoying it,” he said to me.

I had a brief text with him before he jumped on a plane. “It went great. I had an amazing time.” But no indication of an immediate decision.
I just spoke with someone familiar with Hughes’ recruiting process. By all indications, the visit went well, but there isn’t an imminent flip here.

@dermarchi1 - Caught up with Daryl more fully. In short, yes, there is a shot at a flip, but not immediately.
“My mind is wide open,” he said to me. “Still listening. I have a couple more meetings that have to be online due to short time we had there."
Sounds like there’s a chance. Hopefully they can close the deal.
