The combined academic, athletic, and facilities pitch to Syracuse recruits has never been stronger heading into the fifth season as a member of the ACC.
The basketball team’s annual non-ACC portion of the schedule has evolved into a similar mix over the seven weeks from the start of the season until the first league games right around New Year’s Day.
Syracuse has made two Final Four appearances, three trips to the Elite Eight, and five appearances in the Sweet 16, along with producing first round picks every season except 2007 and 2011, and additionally likely to occur this year.
The two games versus the Broncos help fit the bill for completing the future non-ACC portion with a competitive chance to add wins towards a bowl game.
