The Seminoles got their first ever regular season win over the Orange in the Carrier Dome with a 80-62 victory.

Terance Mann scored 22 points, Mfiondu Kabengele added 18 and No. 22 Florida State beat Syracuse 80-62 on Tuesday night.

Mfiondu Kabengele and Terance Mann combined for 40 points, including a perfect 6-6 from 3-point land.

A win over a ranked Florida State team could move Syracuse up in projections in the next week.

Florida State has had injury issues on and off throughout the entire season.

Syracuse finished its three game ACC road trip successfully against Pittsburgh Saturday night, sweeping the season series against the Panthers.

The Panthers shot under 34 percent against SU, including 31.4 percent from long range.

For the fourth time in five games, Syracuse made at least 11 three-pointers while shooting 40 percent from deep.
