Orange Watch: Syracuse needs to move to ACC ASAP

The faster the Big East and West Virginia settle their lawsuit with a monetary figure, the faster the Mountaineers are able to bolt to the Big 12 which they have already told the Big East in no uncertain terms that they intend to begin competing next year, with the domino effect that SU (and Pittsburgh) will know what the numbers are if they want to bolt prior to the 27 month period as stipulated in the league’s bylaws.

Syracuse’s once promising season crashes and burns

Why did the SU football team, which was sitting on top of the Big East World late on the evening of Oct. 21 following a 49-23 dismantling of Top 15 ranked West Virginia, implode with a fourth consecutive defeat, a disheartening 30-13 Senior Day loss to Cincinnati in the Dome on Saturday, to drop to 5-6 with a game left to play?

Orange Watch Friday: Familiar Final Four Trip on the Horizon?

It may be the newly-named Mercedes-Benz Superdome where the SU football team won its fourth game of the season as the clock struck zero last Saturday night against Tulane, but to most ‘Cuse fans it will always be the Louisiana Superdome, or simply the Superdome, a venue that’s second to none when it comes to naming the site that has hosted the most number of meaningful SU football and basketball games played outside the city of Syracuse.
