Syracuse employed a devastating full court press that changed the dynamic of the game—and the lead—in a 84-48 win over Eastern Michigan on Monday night.
Syracuse missed 9 of its first 11 shots to start and trailed 10-3 with 14:59 in the first half. SU head coach Jim Boeheim switched the Orange into a full court press, and Syracuse closed the half on a 32-5 run, and led 35-17 at intermission.
Syracuse announced at around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday evening that they accepted a bid to play in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl on Saturday, December 29 in Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY at 3:15 pm.
