2024 offensive lineman Cooper Lauersen visited Syracuse this past weekend and enjoyed a ‘great’ visit, he said in an interview with The Juice Online.

“The visit went great,” Laurensen said. “Got a lot of love there and the facilities are great.”

The Conwell-Egan High (PA) lineman blocks for running back Sam Cooper, who visited with Lauersen and committed to the Orange over the weekend.

The two enjoyed the visit together, and also got to meet with the coaching staff. Lauersen said he spent the most time chatting with coaches Steve Farmer, Chris Achuff, and Mike Lynch.

“Syracuse is a great school with a good culture,” Laurensen said. “It’s a good, well built program.”

Aside from Syracuse, Laurensen has also visited Boston College.

A major factor for Laurensen will be academics, as the 6-foot-5, 300-pound lineman holds a 4.01 GPA.

“I’m looking for college to be a place where I can grow as a person and a player,” he said, “further my education and my athletic career.”
