2025 Dillard (Fla.) High running back Jaquari Lewis is a is a playmaker as a runner and receiver, with the ability to shift and slash with an explosive first step. It makes sense, as Lewis has modeled his game after an NFL star with the same profile.

“I feel like I’m (the) next Alvin Kamara,” Lewis said in an interview with The Juice Online. “I’ve been loving his play style since 2015.”

Colleges have noticed, and the sophomore has an offer sheet that includes Toledo, Bowling Green, Tulane, FIU and Colorado. Syracuse was the latest school to offer on Monday.

“The Cuse program, I feel like it’s a good program,” Lewis said. “I (would) love to see myself fitting in the program.”

Lewis doesn’t have any favorites from his offers so far, but said that Colorado and FIU are recruiting him the hardest.

“I feel like the Cuse family going to be next,” Lewis said. “I got the Cuse offer from coach (Travis Greene), the RB coach. He’s a good guy.”

The school that ultimately ends up getting Lewis will have a strong sense of family.

“I’m looking for love and I wanna feel at home,” Lewis said. “It’s okay for the fancy cars and stuff, but I wanna go to that school where I have a brotherhood with my teammates and have a good relationship with my coaches to get to the next level in life.”
