2025 Oaks Christian (Calif.) ATH Hayden Lowe was busy last week. In the span of three days, Lowe picked up three high-major offers from Texas, Arizona State and Syracuse. The Orange offer, in particular, caught his attention.

“Syracuse has always been on my bucket list because my Mom loves that school,” Lowe said on this week’s The Juice on the Cuse Podcast. “It has great academic properties to it that I can utilize, and something that will be good for my future. I’m really blessed and honored to call that one of my offers.”

Speaking of offers, his sheet also includes Washington, Pitt, Utah, Michigan, Boston College, Oregon State and Arizona, among others. Lowe and I chatted about lots of other topics, including which schools are recruiting him hardest at the moment, if he has any favorites so far, what he’s like away from the football field, and what he’s looking for in a college. Lowe holds a 3.7 GPA, and, not surprisingly, academics places high on his list.

Lowe plays several different positions for Oaks Christian—tight end, wide receiver, linebacker and defensive lineman. Syracuse wide receivers coach Mike Johnson, who offered Lowe, offered him as a defensive player. At 6’3″, 230 pounds, most schools are recruiting him as a defensive lineman. “I love to get after the quarterback,” Lowe said. The stats bear that out. Though he appeared in just three games with Oaks Christian this past season, which was cut short due to injury, he finished with 16 tackles, 8 TFL and 3 sacks.
