2023 Ironside (MN) High offensive lineman Trevion Mack signed with Syracuse on the first day of the early signing period, flipping his commitment from Northern Illinois.

Mack, a three-star inside lineman according to 247 Sports, had been committed to NIU since August, but the Orange pursued him late in the cycle and he was on campus for an official visit this past weekend.

He is now the sixth player to commit as a result of official visits over the past weekend, and the second to commit the morning of signing day. Earlier on Wednesday, 2023 linebacker Josiah Jeffery signed with the Orange, selecting SU over offers from Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina.

Other players to commit after this weekend included 2023 defensive linemen Ty Gordon and Oluwademilade Omopariola, and JUCO prospects Rice and offensive lineman J’Onre Reed.
