Class of 2023 wide receiver Bryce Cohoon enjoyed his official visit to Syracuse, which culminated with the Orange extending an offer.
“The visit was great,” Cohoon said in an interview with The Juice Online.
The Maize (KS) High speedster was also a Kansas 100M state champion, with Cohoon logging a blistering 10.57 seconds in the dash. In his junior season, he finished with 40 receptions, 804 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
That kind of speed has earned him offers from Air Force, Army, UPenn, Northern Iowa, and UMass, among others. Other schools showing interest include Kansas, Kansas State and Rutgers.
After his visit, Cohoon has a new leader in his recruitment.

“They (Syracuse) are definitely at the top of my list right now from the schools that have offered me,” Cohoon said.

His primary recruiter is Syracuse wide receivers coach Michael Johnson. Cohoon was on campus with a large group of official visitors this past weekend, including Syracuse commits LaNorris Sellers and Rashard Perry.
Another visitor from the group, running back Muwaffaq Parkman from Hillside (NJ) High committed to the Orange following his visit.
As for Cohoon, he’s still early in his recruitment process.
Said Cohoon: “As of right now I do not have a set commitment time.”
