Luckily, the team was able to pull through with new records with him sidelined. With Paul back in the game, things are sure to get even better.
The Suns own the best record in the NBA and have home-court throughout the playoff. Considering their track record so far, it is easy to see why this team is the odds-on favourite to claim the title.
The Golden State Warriors are not to be forgotten. They put on a stellar performance that saw them round off the regular season with five consecutive wins to secure a third seed and a Round 1 matchup against the Denver Nuggets. It gets even better for them as Stephen Curry is said to return for Game 1 of the series.
The Memphis Grizzlies put on a show in the Western Conference and will be a problem for Phoenix and Golden State that’s if all three get past the first round.
