There have been plenty of offers extended from both the Syracuse football and basketball teams in the last week, so let’s get right to it on this week’s recruiting roundup.

Syracuse is the latest school to offer 2022 Apopka (Fla.) wide receiver Chris Reed. He committed to Utah in October, but has scheduled an official visit to Syracuse on Dec. 3. According to Sports Illustrated’s Mike McAllister, Reed will visit Utah on Nov. 19 and is also scheduling an official visit to Florida A&M. 247 Sports ranks Reed as a three-star prospect.

Staying with Florida wide receivers, the Orange has also offered 2023 Lakeland (Fla.) prospect Tyler Williams. Rated three stars by 247 Sports, he also holds offers from Florida State, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, and Michigan, among others. The two-sport star also holds a basketball scholarship offer at Florida Gulf Coast. His primary recruiter at Syracuse is receivers coach Terrence Samuel.

The Orange is trying to close out its 2022 class, and has offered linebacker Garrison Madden from Dutchtown (Ga.). It is his first Power 5 offer, and adds to a list that also includes Air Force, Marshall and Yale.

The Syracuse football coaching is also looking ahead to its 2025 class, being the first school to offer Montvale (NJ) running back John Forster.

The basketball team was also busy in New Jersey in the past week. They offered 2024 point guard Elliot Cadeau from Bergen (NJ) Catholic. Cadeau has also picked up offers from Seton Hall, Providence, Tennessee and Oklahoma State.
