Quadir Copeland, a four-star class of 2022 guard, committed to Syracuse on Tuesday evening, per his Instagram.

The 6-foot-6, 175-pound guard from IMG (FL) Academy was also considering Oklahoma State, Oregon, La Salle, DePaul, Miami, Maryland and Penn State.

Copeland was on the SU campus on June 22 for an official visit.

247 Sports rates him 140th in his class and a three-star prospect. Rivals has him rated four-stars and the 85th overall prospect in 2022.

He joins five-star wing Kamari Lands and four-star guard Justin Taylor in Syracuse’s class so far.

The Orange continue to pursue other recruits in the class, including Peter Carey, Chance Westry, Chris Bunch, and JJ Starling. Westry released a top 10 earlier in the week, and the Orange is among his finalists.

Syracuse also offered 2022 St. Benedicts (NJ) Prep forward Dominick Barlow earlier in the week.
