Five-star class of 2022 point guard Dior Johnson announced his decommitment from Syracuse via Twitter on Tuesday evening.

Johnson, ranked the No. 3 player in his class by 247 Sports, committed to the Orange back in January in his sophomore season. It was SU’s highest commitment since Carmelo Anthony in 2002. But things have changed significantly for Johnson since that time.

Johnson enrolled in Oak Hill Academy, but suffered a stress fracture in his foot and left the program. He resurfaced at Corona Centennial (Calif.) High School, his fifth school in the last two years.
