On the road, the Syracuse Orange were able to pull out a 24-0 win against Liberty. In a game where the offense was held in check, the Cuse defense really came to play. The Syracuse defense forced four turnovers and had eight sacks. The leader on offense for the Orange was running back Moe Neal who ran for 89 yards, had 54 yards receiving, and a rushing touchdown.
