Playing without Zion Williamson, Duke was still able to get the 75-65 win and avenged an earlier loss to Syracuse.
Duke trailed by 5 at halftime, but outscored Syracuse 46-31 in the second half.
Freshman RJ Barrett had seven assists and five rebounds to go along with his game-high 30 points. Sophomore Alex O’Connell had a career night filling in for Williamson, scoring a career-high 20 points.
Tyus Battle scored a team-high 16 points for Syracuse.
