Weekend Recruiting Roundup: Syracuse lands USF transfer Geno Thorpe

Syracuse rounded out its 2017 roster on Friday, picking up a commitment from USF graduate transfer Geno Thorpe. Syracuse.com’s Mike Waters was the first to report the story. Thorpe can play both guard positions, and led the Bulls with 15.1 ppg and 4.6 apg.

2018 Texas quarterback Change Amie has set his decision date for June 26, he posted on Twitter. He currently holds 15 offers, according to 247 Sports, among them Houston, Syracuse, North Carolina and Rutgers. Syracuse is currently trending in the 247 Crystal Ball.

2019 tight end Ben Bresnahan from Georgia picked up an offer from Syracuse, he tweeted on Friday. Rated three-stars by 247 Sports, he also holds offers from Minnesota, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi State.

2019 Pennsylvania wide receiver Keaton Ellis attended Syracuse camp over the weekend, and as a result, he picked up an offer from the Orange, he said on Twitter. It is his second, with the other coming from Buffalo.

2018 Georgia wide receiver Tyquan Johnson tweeted on Friday that he had received an offer from Syracuse. He’s got over 15 offers, including from Mississippi State, Cincinnati and West Virginia.
