Recruiting Roundup: Syracuse offers Dorian Hardy; Jordan Tucker to visit Indiana

It was a nice tribute from Madison Square Garden today to remember the late Pearl Washington. On to today’s recruiting links…

2018 defensive end Dorian Hardy received an offer from Syracuse on Thursday, he tweeted. According to Rivals, the New Jersey prospect has offers from Michigan, Michigan State and UNC, among others. Later in the day, he also tweeted out an offer from Vanderbilt.

Syracuse target Mike Miranda announced on Thursday on Twitter that he committed to Penn State. Aside from the Orange, Miranda had 20 offers to choose from, including Virginia, Maryland, Nebraska and Northwestern.

Scout.com’s Brian Dohn caught up with DeMatha (Md.) defensive back Judson Tallandier. The 2018 prospect is hearing from Florida, BC and Maryland, and already has offer in hand from Syracuse.

Moustapha Diagne, a former Syracuse commit, will declare for the NBA Draft, but not sign an agent, Northwest Florida State coach Steve DeMeo said to SNY.tv’s very own, Adam Zagoria. In the meantime, Syracuse, Pitt and Cincinnati have continued to recruit him.

2017 wing Jordan Tucker will take an unofficial visit to Indiana on Monday, Zagoria also reports. Tucker has no shortage of offers, including St. John’s, Kansas, Villanova and UConn, and continues to be recruited by Syracuse.

That’s all for today. Another melancholy ending to our week as we bid goodbye to pop legend Prince.
