2017 quarterback Jairus Grissom from Michigan tweeted on Thursday afternoon that he received an offer from Syracuse. According to 247 Sports, he also holds offers from NC State, Wake Forest, Houston and Central Michigan, among others.
Matthew Bauer, with an offer from Virginia already in hand, picked up another one from Syracuse, he posted on Twitter. The linebacker from Cathedral Prep (Pa.) is a 2018 prospect.
Defensive lineman Izayah Green-May, a 2017 prospect, tweeted that he received an offer from the Orange. It is the first offer for the Bolingbrook (Ill.) prospect.
2017 offensive lineman Joel Honigford, a three-star prospect from Ohio, tweeted that he picked up an offer from Syracuse. He has offers from BC, Pitt, Colorado State and Kentucky, among others.
Scout.com’s Bill Greene adds that aside from Honigford, Syracuse also offered another Ohio prospect, JaVont’e Richardson. The four-star defensive back prospect also holds offers from Kentucky and Bowling Green.

2017 Virginia four-star defensive back Jonathan Sutherland received an offer from Syracuse, reports Grid Iron Academy on Instagram. According to Scout, Sutherland is a four-star defensive back and already holds offers from Miami, UNC, Pitt and Wake Forest.
Dematha (Md.) Catholic’s Marcus Minor picked up an offer from Syracuse, he tweeted. The four-star 2017 offensive lineman also has offers from West Virginia and Boston College.
Hialeah (Fla.) American defensive back Naytron Culpepper has an offer from Syracuse, reports Scout.com’s Corey Bender. The three-star defensive back also holds offers from Kentucky, Louisville and LSU, according to Scout.
Interesting story from Stephen Bailey from Syracuse.com about where Scott Shafer’s recruits ended up. Of note, only one player (QB Lindsey Scott) ended up at a Power 5 school (LSU).
SNY.tv’s very own, Adam Zagoria, speaks with 2017 wing Jordan Tucker’s coach Pat Massaroni about his star player’s recruitment. Massaroni say that St. John’s, Villanova, Providence, Maryland and Oklahoma have been checking in the most. Syracuse has also offered Tucker.
