Happy Back To The Future Day, everyone! I’m just disappointed that I didn’t get to work today on a Mattel Hoverboard. On to today’s recruiting links…
Scout.com recently updated its rankings for the 2016 class, and Syracuse comes in at No. 13. The Orange have commitments from wing Matt Moyer and guard Tyus Battle. SU is still actively recruiting a third spot in the class, with Taurean Thompson having recently taken a visit to Syracuse.
Speaking of Thompson, Syracuse.com’s Mike Waters caught up with his mother, Sherese Piper. She said that Thompson enjoyed his visit to Syracuse. Waters also spoke to Quade Green’s high school coach Carl Arrigale, who said Green enjoyed his trip as well. “He didn’t say anything about being to any close kind of decision,” Arrigale said.

Arizona head coach Sean Miller was in Dallas (Tx.) API to watch elite 2017 guard Trevon Duval, reports Scout.com’s Evan Daniels. Duval holds offers from many of the elite programs in the country, including Arizona, Connecticut, Kansas, Louisville and Syracuse.
Three recruits have set official visit dates to Syracuse, including OL Cam DeGeorge, OL Sam Heckel and DB/LB Will Harper, according to Scout.com’s Mike McAllister. All three players are committed to the Orange.
That’s all the recruiting links for today, but in closing, be sure to check out the new Cuse Fan Council. It seems like a great idea to improve the fan experience at SU. Have a great day, everyone.
