When we last spoke to him during the July Live Period, sophomore St. Benedict’s (N.J.) guard Trevon Duval held offers from Seton Hall, Rutgers, and Villanova; already an impressive list for just a rising sophomore. However, Duval’s recruiting has exploded even more as of late, as he has added offers from Pittsburgh, Southern Methodist, Miami, Cincinnati, Texas Tech, and UConn since the start of the school year, with the defending national champs offering just last week. He also claimed interest from Kansas, Georgetown, Penn State, and Syracuse, which he visited last weekend. “It was pretty good,” Duval said of the Syracuse visit. “I went to their Orange Madness, and it was hanging out with the players and watching practice.”
