Syracuse outgained Maryland in total yardage (589-369), won the time of possession battle (32:14-27:46), forced them to punt seven times and had five red zone opportunities to Maryland’s two.

The Syracuse offense rolled up lots of yards on Saturday afternoon, but could not finish many drives with points and fell to Maryland at the Carrier Dome, 34-20.

Maryland busted open a 17-13 game in the second quarter after the Terps scored twice on Syracuse turnovers.

Win or lose, we’ll at least have a better idea of just how far this squad can go this season.
