Perhaps the most intriguing area recruiting story to keep an eye on this summer is that of Archbishop Carroll 2015 wing Derrick Jones. The high flying 6-foot-6 Jones has had an eventful trip on the recruiting trail over the past year, and things don’t seem any clearer regarding his future. Last year Jones picked up offers from Rutgers, Arizona, Kansas, Syracuse and others, but wouldn’t clarify on schools that he was currently hearing from. “Nothing is new,” Jones said at the Pitt Jam Fest. “I’m just going to work my options out for college and I might go and visit a couple of schools. But, I’m not sure where I’m going to go yet. It’s on my mind to visit a couple schools.”
